Very edifying book. It opened my eyes to some areas of ingratitude and entitlement in my heart that I had no idea were there, especially in the area of being thankful for God’s gifts after they have been taken away.

My only complaint is on the section of how to be more grateful. The author speaks of gratitude as mainly being comprised of saying thanks. But everyone knows it’s possible to say thanks without being grateful, which means gratitude is something other than saying thanks. I would like to have seen more of the relational aspect of gratitude (receiving and enjoying God’s love).

I highly recommend the book.
